About Jo de Vivre

I have always been a beauty freak. I love messing around with products, finding what works and taking a moment for myself. But like many others, I lead a busy life and am always in a hurry. On top of that, I am not a morning person, so I am often late in the morning (because I can't get out of bed) and so my morning skincare routine has to be quick and effective. And preferably a little bit luxurious. But In the evening or on the weekend I do take the time. Then my skincare routine is my moment of pampering, because let's be honest, if you don't do it yourself, who will?

At the same time, I think it's nonsense to spend €100 on a cream that is not worth its price tag. That's how I discovered Korean beauty: innovative, well-thought-out, effective and affordable. I started Jo de Vivre because beauty makes me happy and I couldn't see the forest for the trees. The range is enormous and the claims are often exaggerated. That's why I only select products that have proven themselves. That are not only good, but also have that little bit extra, in terms of effect, feeling or design.

The name Jo de Vivre is a nod to the French expression joie de vivre, joy of life or the art of celebrating life. Because that is exactly what I want to convey. You have to hang the streamers yourself. Use beautiful products that make your routine special, no matter how short or extensive it is. Jo de Vivre was created from my own search and love for beauty.
